Objective
To evaluate the brain parenchyma for structural abnormalities in a patient presenting with neurological symptoms such as headache, altered sensorium, seizure activity, or suspected cerebrovascular event.
Material & Methods
A non-contrast CT scan of the brain was performed using a multi-slice CT scanner. Axial sections were obtained from the skull base to the vertex with standard brain window settings. Coronal and sagittal reconstructions were reviewed where required.
No intravenous contrast was administered. The study was completed without complications, and image quality was adequate for interpretation.
Results
- Cerebral hemispheres show normal grey–white matter differentiation.
- No evidence of intracranial hemorrhage, space-occupying lesion, or acute territorial infarct.
- Ventricular system appears normal in size and configuration, with no midline shift.

DICOM images and reports are accessible in one unified workspace. Doctors can review and document findings without leaving the system.
All patient details are available in one place, making it easy to review context. This helps doctors stay focused without switching between multiple views.
Patient visits and previous tests are organized in one view for better clarity. This helps doctors review history quickly and make informed decisions.

Secondary Colours
Secondary colours were used for: System statuses, Alerts, Tags, Supporting highlights.
They improved communication without competing with the primary colour.

Present Both Directions
The second concept should explore a clearly different direction through: Colour,Typography,Illustrations and Overall visual style
Both concepts should still feel connected to the same brand.

Be Open to Feedback
Stakeholders may understand constraints, priorities, or business context the design team may not fully know.
Treat feedback as additional input, not something to defend against. If feedback conflicts with usability, explain the trade-off clearly.

How Upslide Uses This in Real Projects
UI Concepts Guide the Visual Direction
UI concepts build on product understanding, brand persona, selected screens, and redesign insights.
They help us explore and validate how the software should look, feel, and communicate before designing the complete interface.

Final Takeaway
UI Concepts Are Essential Before Final UI
A UI concept should do more than make the software attractive. It should establish a visual direction that supports the product, users, brand, and complete software experience.
Product Context
Reflects how the software works.
Brand
Persona
Expresses the intended brand character.
Visual
Direction
Defines colour, type, icons, and illustrations.
User Experience
Supports hierarchy, clarity, and workflows.
Design Consistency
Creates a scalable foundation for final UI.
